ABU DHABI, 3rd June 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today Maxime Prevot, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation in the Kingdom of Belgium.
During the meeting, held in Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed warmly welcomed Minister Maxime Prevot.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Maxime Prevot discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Belgium and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields, including economic, trade, and investment sectors, as well as other areas that align with both countries' development priorities.
The UAE Top Diplomat emphasised the UAE's strong commitment to fostering positive and fruitful cooperation with Belgium to promote mutual development and prosperity for both nations and their peoples.
The discussions also covered recent developments in the region and globally. They also exchanged views on key regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Mohamed Al Sahlawi, UAE ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union.
